{"id":5492,"date":"2025-03-08T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-03-08T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edumas.gov.co\/inicio\/?p=5492"},"modified":"2025-03-10T19:00:00","modified_gmt":"2025-03-10T19:00:00","slug":"cumpleanos-de-soledad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edumas.gov.co\/inicio\/2025\/03\/08\/cumpleanos-de-soledad\/","title":{"rendered":"Cumplea\u00f1os de Soledad"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>8 de marzo<\/strong> &#8211; Son 211 a\u00f1os los transcurridos desde la fundaci\u00f3n del actual municipio de Soledad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Su fundaci\u00f3n se remonta al 8 de marzo de 1598, cuando ocho ind\u00edgenas fueron llevados all\u00ed bajo el mando del capit\u00e1n Antonio Moreno Estupi\u00f1\u00e1n para establecer un criadero de cerdos y construyeron un boh\u00edo de 45 m de largo por 14 m de ancho, 83 corrales y 63 porquerizas. El sitio se convirti\u00f3 poco a poco en un caser\u00edo de \u00abvecinos libres\u00bb fuera del dominio espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 1640,&nbsp;Melchor Caro&nbsp;tramit\u00f3 la fundaci\u00f3n legal del poblado, la Porquera de San Antonio, que en 1743 recibi\u00f3 la categor\u00eda de parroquia, inaugurada oficialmente el 20 de enero de 1744 con el nombre de&nbsp;<em>parroquia san&nbsp;Antonio de Padua<\/em>. El 8 de marzo de 1814 se le concedi\u00f3 el t\u00edtulo de villa con el nombre de&nbsp;<em>Soledad de Colombia<\/em>&nbsp;y en 1824 se le design\u00f3 cabecera del tercer&nbsp;cant\u00f3n&nbsp;de la&nbsp;provincia de Cartagena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entre los hechos hist\u00f3ricos m\u00e1s relevantes se registran las dos visitas del Libertador&nbsp;Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar&nbsp;a Soledad. En la \u00faltima de ellas lleg\u00f3 enfermo el 4 de octubre de 1830, permaneci\u00f3 hasta el 7 de noviembre del mismo a\u00f1o, partiendo de all\u00ed a Barranquilla y luego a Santa Marta, donde permaneci\u00f3 hasta su muerte en San Pedro Alejandrino el 17 de diciembre de ese a\u00f1o.
