Esta recomendaci\u00f3n fue aceptada por la Organizaci\u00f3n de Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentaci\u00f3n (FAO) en 1971. En Colombia, se celebra el D\u00eda Nacional del \u00c1rbol el 29 de abril, por decreto en 1941.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los \u00e1rboles son los mejores aliados, pues captan y recargan las fuentes de agua, liberan el ox\u00edgeno y capturan el di\u00f3xido de carbono.
